15 minutes · private room · open daily on Chapel Street. A full-body bed of red and near-infrared light. Use on its own, or close out a bathhouse session with it.
What is red-light therapy?
Time spent lying in a full-body bed of red and near-infrared light, with as much bare skin in the light as you like. Research reviews describe red and near-infrared light being absorbed by the mitochondria in skin cells, activating signalling pathways linked to repair and renewal (Avci et al., 2013). Customise the wavelengths & their frequency to suit your goal, and build your own ritual. Longer wavelengths reach deeper into your body.

15 minutes, all yours.

The room is yours: door closed, the bed ready. Undress to your comfort; bare skin gets the benefit.

Red light builds with repetition. The studies that show results ran sessions two to five times a week, for eight weeks or more. So we suggest: three or four short visits a week.
Three ways in.
Make it part of your week, take a pack, or try it once.

Common questions.
What's the difference between red light and infrared?
The red-light bed uses red light, which you can see, and near-infrared, which you can't. It's a light session, so you won't sweat. Our infrared sauna is different: a heated private room for 45 minutes, and you will sweat. Plenty of people do both.
How often should I come?
Three or four times a week, for a couple of months, is where we'd start. That's close to how the research was run, and it's what the membership covers.
What should I wear?
As little as you're comfortable with. It's a private room with the door closed, and bare skin is where the light lands. Take off makeup and heavy moisturiser beforehand if you can.
Who isn't it for?
Check with your GP first if you're pregnant, take medication that makes your skin sensitive to light, have a history of skin cancer, or have a condition affecting your eyes.
Can I add it to a bathhouse session?
Yes. Book red light for just before or just after your bathhouse session. Fifteen minutes on the way in or out. The Complete Membership covers both.
Do I need to be a member?
No. Anyone can book a single session, or buy a pack.
