Planning your visit
Do I need to book ahead?
Yes. Sessions are booked online so the bathhouse stays calm and uncrowded. Book a time that suits and arrive a few minutes early.
Is there an age limit?
Yes. Guests must be 12 years or older. Guests aged 12 to 17 are welcome with a parent or guardian, who stays with them for the visit.
What do I bring?
Just swimwear. Towels, lockers and water are provided. Sandals are available to hire if you'd like them.
How long is a session?
Sessions run two hours, long enough for three or four rounds of sweat, soak and rest without rushing.
Is there parking?
In Byron Bay, there's street parking nearby and the Woolworths car park on Jonson Street is a short walk. Navia Prahran is a short walk from Prahran Station; nearby street parking is one-hour, and the Anchor Place and Princes Close car parks both offer two-hour parking.
Do you have lockers?
Yes. Our all-gender change rooms have private cubicles, showers and secure lockers, so bring as little as you like.
In the bathhouse
How hot (and cold) does it get?
Our saunas run from 80°C up to 100°C depending on the room, and the steam room is a softer 52°C. The magnesium pools hold a warm 35–38°C. On the cold side, plunges start at 8–10°C and step down to ice at 0–2°C. Every space is listed with its temperature on the Byron Bay and Prahran pages.
Can I visit while pregnant?
We recommend checking with your GP or primary care physician first. With their all-clear you're very welcome: take the heat and cold at your own pace, and rest as often as you like. Our pregnancy massage is designed for the second and third trimesters.
Packs & memberships
Can I share my pack?
A pack is for one person: the person it was bought for, or gifted to. To bring someone along, pack holders and members get 20% off for a guest on every booking. An unused pack can also be gifted once, in full. See our pack terms.
Do packs expire?
5-packs and 10-packs are valid for 12 months from purchase.
Can I pause my membership?
Members can pause for up to four weeks a year. Speak to the team to arrange it.
Is membership single-location?
Yes. A Byron membership is for Byron, a Prahran membership is for Prahran. You're welcome to hold both, but they're separate.

Do gift cards expire?
Gift cards are valid for three years from purchase. They're delivered by email (instantly, or on a date you choose) and are redeemable at any location.
How do I send a gift?
