Questions

Common questions.

Can I combine a massage with the bathhouse?

Yes. The Massage & Bathe package starts from $199: a 60-minute massage and an hour of bathhouse access, back to back. You choose the order; most people sauna after.

What massage styles does Navia Byron Bay offer?

Deep-tissue, relaxation, and pregnancy massage. All sessions are 60 or 90 minutes, in a private room.

Do I need to bring anything for my massage?

No. Towels and linen are provided. Arrive as you are; no need to plan ahead.

Can I book a massage as a gift?

Yes. Navia gift cards cover any service, including massage. Buy one on the gifts page and the recipient books when it suits them.

Which massage should I choose?

Deep-tissue if something specific needs working on, relaxation if the goal is to switch off, pregnancy massage if you're expecting. All three run 60 or 90 minutes in a private room, and your therapist adjusts as you go.

How firm is deep-tissue massage, really?

Firm enough to reach the tissue that holds the tension, never punishing. You set the ceiling before the session starts and can change it at any point; say the word and the pressure eases.

Is pregnancy massage safe in the second trimester?

The second and third trimesters are when most people book. Depending on your stage, you'll be supported side-lying or lying on your stomach on our speciality pregnancy pillow, with a therapist trained in pregnancy massage. In the first trimester, check with your GP first; we'll hold the table for the months ahead.

Massage first, or bathhouse first?

Your call. Massage & Bathe works in either order. Some people take the heat first, because warm muscle gives the therapist a head start. Finishing with the cold plunge is the reset; finishing with the magnesium pool is the sedative.

Can two of us book together?

Yes. Book two sessions for the same start time and share the bathhouse hour before or after. Gift cards cover it too, if one of you is being treated.

Ready to book?

Open daily. Arrive when you're ready.
